The song also speaks to the idea that if you work hard and stay true to your brand, you can be successful no matter what.

On Friday morning, Uzi rolled out the official video for their recently released track “Just Wanna Rock.” The video, available above, was helmed by Eternal Atake short film director Gibson Hazard and sees Uzi taking a fittingly intergalactic approach to bringing the highly replayable track to life.

The clip starts with Uzi driving off into space on a giant rock, travelling in all directions as he sings some of the most infectious melodies ever put to tape. From there, it takes a wild ride as we watch him take on every type of beatdown imaginable – from hard-hitting basslines and anthems to soaring choruses and luscious reprises.

Just Wanna Rock was created by hazard and shotclock in collaboration with Oliver Cannon as executive creative director. Joseph Boyd as video commissioner, House of Hazard and ShotClock as production companies, and Jagger Corcione as producer. The dance at the center of Hazard’s visual was created by Drew Deezy on TikTok.

Following the news that Uzi will be launching a 20-city headlining trek in March, tickets are now available for purchase. The tour is set to feature some of the biggest names in popular music, and is expected to bring in a lot of money. In addition to the tour, fans can also expect new music from Uzi soon.

According to Complex, Yeat and Uzi have a catalog of unreleased collaborations that stretches over 20 albums. The two Grammy-winning producers recently teased their fans with the release of a new project called Pink Tape, which is set to appear on November 6th.

The album will feature newly recorded tracks and will be the duo’s first release in more than 10 years. The news comes as no surprise, as both Yeat and Uzi have been hinting at new music for months now. Back in May, Yeat said he had finished work on his tenth solo album and that it would come out next year. Meanwhile, Uzi has said multiple times that he plans to release a new album every year for the rest of his life.
